Why should you join?
The Association of Florida Magistrates and Hearing Officers ("AFMH") provides a forum through which Florida magistrates and hearing officers may more effectively and efficiently meet their duties and responsibilities as established by rule, statute, and administrative order. Additionally, AFMH seeks to advance awareness of the roles of magistrates and hearing officers within the judicial branch through fellowship, education, and other activities to support our interests. In addition to regular informative CLE and mentorship opportunities, we hold monthly "Question of the Month" Zoom meetings over the lunch hour to discuss issues and questions that arise. Members are also welcome to submit questions to the group by e-mail at any time. To join, there is a one-time $45 Initial Registration Fee, and Annual Dues of $50. Please e-mail our Membership Committee Chair, General Magistrate Amy W. Ellis (AFMHMembership@gmail.com), with any questions about membership.
